Aloha all HPPOA members:

In response to the current volcanic eruption threat and the proposed roads connecting to our private roads, the HPP Emergency Access Road Committee held an organizational meeting on September 10, 2014.  Feeling that time was of the essence in voicing our concerns to the County of Hawaii, a motion was passed to immediately initiate contact with the Public Works Department to have these concerns addressed.  A team consisting of Jerry L. Carr, elected Chair of the Committee, HPP Board member Janice Ashford, and Committee founding member Leilani Bronson-Crelly were chosen to interface with the County.  With the help of Councilman Greggor Ilagan, a meeting was held with Mr. Warren Lee, PE, Director of the County of Hawaii Public Works Department on September 11, 2014.
Click this link for the summary of the questions we presented
and the responses made by Mr. Lee.

All meetings are held in the Activity Center unless otherwise posted.

Minutes of meetings are posted
