"A Bylaw Amendment mail-in ballot was sent to HPPOA lot owners in July
2009. Adoption of an amendment requires at least 600 ballot votes must be
returned with not less than a 2/3 majority vote in favor of adoption. The
amendment was adopted by the membership and these are the voting results:
1147___ votes returned to the League of Women Voters
935____ votes received in favor of adoption (81.5%)
176____ votes received not in favor of adoption (15.3%)
36______Blank/no vote/spoiled ballots returned to the League of Women Voters
The new bylaw requires that *future* driveways on corner lots exit onto side
roads, instead of the main roads. HPPOA will notify lot owners of affected
lots directly of the new bylaw specifics which includes explanation
of allowed exceptions."
